Job Description
Director of Case Management
Greater Providence Massachusetts Area
The RN Director of Case Management is responsible for Case Management Utilization Review Integrated Clinical Service Discharge Planning and Care Transitions. The Director of Case Management develops/manages operational capital budgets in achieving annual financial goals. The Director possesses leadership skills including team building staff mentoring and education and relationship building with partners across the Care Continuum.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse required
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
- Masters degree preferred
- Director of Case Management experience in an Acute Hospital Setting
Responsibilities:
- Maximizes access to and efficient utilization of resources in an integrated multidisciplinary patient Care Management program
- Chairs the quarterly Utilization Review Committee
- Ensures effective and timely communication with key stakeholders across the Care Continuum
- Utilizes established medical necessity criteria
- Possesses indepth knowledge of administrative accountability for appeals preparation and submission
- Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills
