Whats This Role All About
Were looking for a Learning & Development Facilitator to take charge of training coaching and skill development across our Youth and Disability Services teams. This is more than just training its about building confidence ensuring compliance and making sure staff feel prepared and supported from day one.
Heres what youll be doing:
Running engaging handson training in clinical skills medication administration manual handling and crisis response
Leading Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training to equip staff with essential deescalation techniques
Guiding new starters through induction and competency signoffsbecause we dont do sink or swim training
Coaching and mentoring staff to build confidence and refine their skills over time
Spotting gaps in knowledge and tailoring training accordinglyno onesizefitsall approach here
Keeping everything aligned with NDIS Practice Standards (including HIPDA) and HSQF compliance
This role is for someone who loves working with people simplifying complex concepts and seeing others succeed.

Who Were Looking For:
Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA registration)
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
Certified TCI TraintheTrainer (or willing to complete)
Experience delivering training and mentoring staff in Youth & Disability services
Strong knowledge of clinical skills medication administration and manual handling
Great communication skills you can break down complex topics and make learning engaging
Queensland Drivers License Working with Children Check NDIS Worker Screening and LCS2 Clearance
