Job Description
Introduction
Our client a leading multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy is seeking a professionally registered Senior Resident Engineer with extensive experience on road rehabilitation projects. If this sounds like the right opportunity for you apply today!
Requirements:
- BEng/BSc/BTech Civil Engineering
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist
- Minimum of 10 years site experience as a Senior Resident Engineer on roads projects.
- Asphalt overlay experience is essential.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daytoday construction activities to ensure they align with project plans and specifications.
- Ensuring that all construction activities comply with regulations and safety standards.
- Providing technical guidance and support to the construction team.
- Addressing and resolving any onsite technical issues or challenges that arise.
- Acting as the primary point of contact between the construction site and the project management team.
- Keeping detailed records of construction activities progress and any issues encountered.
- Preparing and submitting regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
