This role is working EST hours Monday Friday

About this role

This role is part of our Legal Team with the aim to expand the scope into Legal Engineering and Implementation in the future. Initially it will involve working directly with investment teams at some of the worlds largest private equity and debt funds financial institutions and corporates as they explore transaction opportunities. As an experienced legal professional you will have responsibility for reviewing and negotiating a suite of certain contracts. In addition Robin offers fantastic opportunities for personal career development in a variety of areas alongside traditional legal work.

This role will suit an experienced legal professional (whether a qualified solicitor or paralegal) who might be considering a position within a legal team at an investment bank fund asset management company or alternative legal service provider focusing on contract review. At Robin we are proud to call a large number of these institutions our clients and our core transactional work covers many of the same areas and document types but we work in a much more modern creative and flexible way! #LISA1

What youll do

Qualifications

You will have at least 3 years experience drafting reviewing and negotiating the core transactional documents regularly encountered by our clients (including confidentiality agreements engagement letters and release letters). You will have previously worked with private equity asset management or hedge fund clients whether inhouse at a service provider or at a law firm and will understand typical fund transaction structures and timelines.

You will enjoy taking the initiative and seeking answers to interesting practical and legal issues. You will be both technical and commercial both in the practice of law and outside of it. Last (but certainly not least) you will be motivated by working in a fastpaced diverse and intellectually challenging environment where collaboration between lawyers and nonlawyers is essential to achieving results.
