Knowledge and/or experience with the early childhood mixed delivery system.Understanding of best practices or dialogic reading in early literacy preferred.Preference for a candidate that is multilingual.Ability to be flexible with days and times this position may require day evening or weekend activities. Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to:Support CFCE goals and programming according to Department of Early Education and Cares requirements.Conduct CFCE sponsored playgroups workshops Parent Cafes and family engagement activities with a strong focus on early literacy i.e. Raising a Reader.Spend a minimum of 5 hours a week at the Family Hub providing onsite support.Help families access local comprehensive services.Use resources such as The MA Strengthening Partnership Frameworks or Strengthening Families in planning activities.Collect and report monthly CFCE grant referral data.Conduct Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) and share results with families.Build strong collaborative relations with community early education partners.Actively participate in CFCE Advisory Council and Family Ambassadors meetings.Skilled at working independently and collaboratively.Responsible to:Early Childhood Grants and Programs CoordinatorCompensation:15 Hours Per week CFCE and CPPI Grants 46 weeks)A resume of the applicants educational and/or professional background should accompany the letter of application.
