Terms of Reference
Job Designation: Accounts Executive
Job Location: New Delhi
Primary Reporting: Senior Finance Officer
We would like to hire a suitable candidate for theposition of Accounts Executiveas part ofthe Accounts & Finance Team to expand its work in the area of Bookkeepingand Maintenance of all financial records in a systematic manner. Experience in Bookkeeping advanced Excel skills Tally and handson other ERP programs would be preferred. When necessary the Accounts Executive should be prepared to take onadditional responsibilities directly or indirectlyrelated to the main scope of work. There will be endless opportunities to learn andcontribute across variousactivities at CEEW. The incumbent will be responsible for duties ashighlighted below:
Accounting Finance andothers
Keepaccurate records of all daily transactions.
Processinvoices and maintain records in the accounting system.
Maintaindatabase and keep all records in soft and hard form.
Maintenanceof physical and digital files through proper use of a file management system.
Print outall types of accounting vouchers from accounting software and their filings.
To support the Travel desk and maintain travel data in Excel sheets and Zoho expenses.
Posting invoices staff reimbursements etc. in theaccounting system daily.
Manage functions like invoice processing and reviewing quotations from vendors.
Review and implement financial policies.
Maintenance of Books of Accounts as per theFinance manual and policies.
Maintenance of Fixed assets register and physicalverifications at different intervals.
Keeping aclose watch on the Councils statutory compliance.
Closecoordination with the HR and Admin team related to financial matters.
Wellversed to all TDS and TCS provisions including return filing and rates ofdeductions.
Preparemonthly quarterly and annual financial reports for donors.
Properlyrecording and maintaining Grant management files.
Ensureaccounting records are verified and also participate in financial audits.
Assistwith budget preparation Utilization Reports financial reporting.
All othersupporting tasks
Audits(Statutory and Internal)
Assisting team in internal/statutory/taxaudit.
Ensuring maintenance of proper records as perthe audit requirements.
Assisting team in assessing results analyzingvariance and making suitable recommendations.
Education andExperience
Preferably a Bachelors/Masters degree in Commerce.
Candidates having relevant work experience insimilar industries or setupswill be preferred.
Main skills
Moderate accounting knowledge and ability to use professionalpackages like Tally and SAP.
Must be an adept user of MSoffice suite (word excel and PowerPoint presentations). Must have basic excel skills candidates havingadvanced excel skills will be preferred.
Selfstarters with analytic skills who can apply qualitative methodologies to collate and analyse information meaningfully.
Personality
