Job Description

Job Type Description
Berkeley County Schools seeks qualified applicants for a MultiCategorical Special Education Teacher.
Successful applicant will work with identified LD students in accordance with their IEPs in grades 68 ensure all procedural safeguards are followed; provide appropriate instruction to assist IEP students in reaching goals; establishing and following behavior management plans along with other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Salary Schedule
Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience. 200day employment term.
If a NBCT accepts the position they will be paid an additional $2000 stipend in addition to their salary benefits and NBCT stipend.
Specialized Skills
A minimum of a Bachelors degree and hold or be eligible for West Virginia licensure with endorsement(s) in Multicategorical Special Education with appropriate grade levels.
ABA trained is preferred but the successful applicant will be provided ABA training if needed.
Additional Job Information
If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position then an applicant who is eligible for a firstclass permit alternative certification TeacherinResidence or a perm sub can be considered.
