Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies has an opening fora Senior Specialist Integration & Test Engineer. This position will be onsite in Palm Bay Fl. The candidate will work in a fastpaced environment with high expectations significantly diverse assignments and a collaborative team setting.
This position will be responsible for providing support to plan develop integrate and Space test hardware electronic payloads to customerfunded program effort within our Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) business unit of L3Harris Corporation. This role will be responsible for the requirement and architecture creation for multiple test beds and/or Test Sets. This position will be responsible for leading the development of test software using LabVIEW and/or TestStand. The candidate will also participate in software validation documentation development (i.e. test plan procedures) selloff design reviews and provide support with resolution of anomalies related to the LabVIEW implementation.
The candidate will write test equipment drivers and use the test software to validate and verify requirements for hardware from circuit cards test beds to subsystem components and up to spacecraft vehicles during functional and environmental testing.

Essential Functions:
- Responsible of developing LabVIEW Test Architecture to meet all technical requirements and specifications to test space vehicle payload and/or test bed(s)
- Responsible of generating test documentation (e.g. Test Requirements Documents Test Design Documents Test Plans and Test Procedures)
- Responsible of selloff checkouts and support to all phases of the system Lifecycle (design analysis manufacturing test verification/validation and delivery)
- Use LabVIEW and software interfaces to process signals from various measurement devices and analyze collected UUT data.
- Develop solutions to automated test benches and systems for monitoring control and validation of hardware under various conditions using LabVIEW
- Support the daytoday of the system test and integration tasks for Space Payloads and/or Space Vehicles
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and on cross functional teams
- Support the root cause troubleshooting and corrective action process (as required)
- Ability to work extended and weekend hours (as required)
- Travel to support integration activities and postdelivery support (as required)
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or applicable Engineering Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- 4 years of experience of LabVIEW and/or TestStand
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with Cosmos Ruby InControl or other Satellite/ Telemetry Tracking & Control (TT&C) Scripting languages
- Experience with space vehicle level test development and integration
- Experience development of test set hardware/software requirements block diagrams interconnect diagrams and test set hardware software integration
- Experience leading groups of junior engineers to successfully execute a test program
- Experience with RF measurements and testing tools and RF test equipment
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Experience with Jira/Bit Bucket/Confluence
- Experience with MS Project Visio PowerPoint
- Experience with National Instruments Test Equipment
- Experience using Source Control Tools
- Experience with requirements derivation and tracking using DOORs (or equivalent) including requirements verification traceability matrix (RVTM)
- Effective communicator able to professionally interact with external customer and internal engineering team
- Teamplayer able to work in a large program and fastpaced environment
