Job Description

Parttime: Summer 2025 Extended School Year Special Education Program Special Education Teachers for Autism ProgramsLevels: Teachers needed for Preschool Elementary & Middle School classroomsLocation: Center Elementary SchoolDates: July 7 August 7 2025Program is Monday through Thursday (no programming on Fridays)Teacher Hours: 7:30AM to 1:15 PM 5.75 hours/day)Qualified candidates will provide ABA programming for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The students attend 4 or 5 hours/day. The focus of instruction is based on individual students IEPs in order for them to review practice and maintain previously learned skills. Understanding & experience teaching with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis Experience with discrete trial instruction Monitor student progress to maintain skills from IEP goals and write ESY summaries of performance at the end of the session. Plan and maintain a program of instruction individualized to students IEP goals & objectives Facilitate and support paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom
