Job Description
- Key coworking Infection Prevention and Control role within a small Quality and Risk Management team
- Permanent part time 0.6 FTE
- Excellent salary packaging options available
- Develop implement evaluate and report on key IPC activities to meet the requirements of local state and national protocols and guidelines
- Undertake surveillance investigations and audits including regular reporting and feedback to staff
- Provide collaborative leadership and expert advice pertaining to organisational IPC risks including outbreak and contact tracing events
- Registered Nurse with postgraduation experience
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) Bachelor of Nursing Degree
- Demonstrated knowledge of HICMR ACHS quality improvement and risk management
- Person centred approach to supporting staff & patients in communicating IPC risks and system features
- Highly developed skills in communication (verbal written and IT) problem solving & conflict resolution
- An ability to demonstrate leadership skills work as part of the team work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload
