Long Term Substitute Teacher English Language Development Inza Wood Middle School
This position is to start as soon as possible and will likely run through the end of theschool year.

Position Description:
Create a strong program to ensure significant growth in language and academic proficiency by serving students directly in a pushin setting and partnering with classroom teachers to coplan and coteach. Educate the whole child intellectually socially and emotionally. Plan and implement learning to meet the instructional needs of all children using an overall constructivist approach with explicit strategies for increasing language proficiency and accessing content in all subject areas. Use data to continually assess each learners progress and make adjustments to instruction. Communicate and build working relationships with students families and colleagues to support and advocate for emerging bilinguals. Demonstrate understanding of culturally responsive teaching practices. Participate in all pertinent school activities meetings with staff and parents and professional learning opportunities.
