We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to support our multinational team by providing L3/L4 expert support for all HANA & other Databases under Linux OS and infrastructure customer issues. You will lead efforts in trouble shooting incident handling root cause analysis enabling faster issue resolution and continuous improvement of our operational processes. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise primarily in SAP HANA besides any other databases like ASE DB2 IQ Max DB systems exceptional trouble shooting and problemsolving abilities. This role demands comfort in a fastpaced dynamic environment and the ability to operate effectively in a global 24x7 setting.

You will be responsible to drive continuous improvement to increase operation availability and efficiency. Infrastructure landscape rearchitecture and new technology adoption is another important part. Global thinking and a strong customer focus are essential within the new Enterprise Cloud Services program. Your role will be of a Technology Senior Consultant as part of the Center of Excellence Teams comprising of Database Experts administering Databases driving critical topics related to Incident Management Problem Management High Availability Disaster Recovery Backup & Restore among other operational tasks.

What youll do:

• Monitoring and managing the database landscape in a largescale Productive environments
• Must have good knowledge of Policy workflow group and clients for Configuring the backup
• Ensuring Data Integrity aspects and determining the most suitable recovery technique
• Ability to handle effectively and accurately the data recovery scenarios
• Clear understanding of PointInTime (PIT) and full recovery techniques
• Handle incidents around critical systems and ability to failover & failback as needed

What you bring:

• Strong conceptual understanding & knowledge on the RDBMS products in the market
• Around 15 years of work experience as Database Administrator in Global Operations team (primarily on SAP HANA and ASE Database Platforms however any database technology is welcome)
• Exposure to the automation tools /scripting or processes
• DB installations and upgrade Planning setup and implementation
• Providing technical expertise and support in optimizing and tuning of Systems. Performance Optimization
• DB Concept on Security Backup and recovery strategies performance tuning System Copies high availability and disaster recovery strategy exportimport replication is must
• Willingness to work oncall duty (weekends and public holidays) on a rotational basis during business hours
