Job Description

The opportunity

A Scrum Master facilitates key Scrum ceremonies such as daily standups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices while guiding them in selforganization and crossfunctionality. They foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration and support team development through feedback and guidance. They ensure clear communication between the team and collaborators supervise performance through metrics encourage Agile practices and stay updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning sprint reviews and retrospectives.

  • Encourage effective communication within the team and with external partners.

  • Ensure that the Product Backlog is wellmaintained and prioritized in collaboration with the Product Owner.

  • Monitor and track the teams performance including velocity burndown charts and other metrics.

  • Find opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to improve team performance.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Business or a related field; or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience 3 years) as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.

  • Strong understanding of Agile principles practices and frameworks (e.g. Scrum Kanban).

  • Excellent facilitation coaching and mentoring skills.

  • Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work optimally with crossfunctional teams and collaborators.

  • Experience in software development or a technical background.

  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g. Jira Trello).

Salary range is expected to be between

$104860.00 USD $194740.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant jobrelated factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
