If you are seeking an opportunity as a Purchasing Coordinator Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Louisville KY you will work in a team environment and aid the manufacturing of highquality products and be responsible for planning and scheduling daily work for the production floor striving to meet established goals and on time deliveries. For the right candidate this role can lead to other exciting opportunities in our supply chain in Louisville or perhaps within the vast Emerson network of companies around the world!

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Daily review of sales orders entered by sales the previous day for accurate ship dates based on personnel scheduling and component part availability
  • Prepare Late Order Report and forward to appropriate management members daily
  • Review the MAX Order Navigator daily to identify best scheduling practices
  • Prepare and distribute the daily Production schedule according to the required ship dates component availability production personnel available and the urgency of the customer involved
  • Prepare and distribute the main product line production demand form in advance of the days following production. Make recommendations for production Line staffing and output quantities
  • Daily review of purchase schedule to determine what components need to be ordered.
  • Prepare Late Purchase Order Report and forward to appropriate suppliers daily
  • Biweekly review of planner action to determine pull in/push out of components.

Who you are:

You collaborate with others outside of the department. You are action orientated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision. You ensure that customers expectations are met.

For this role you will need:

  • High Scholl diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of purchasing or supply chain experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel Word Outlook Access Warehouse Management and Scheduling Software.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications that set you apart:

  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient math and computer skills.
  • Logistics Quality Technology or Purchasing related experience.
  • Skilled in communication and organizational skills
  • Proven analytical skills.
