Job Description
We are seeking applications for Dispatch Controllers at Kinetic on the Sunshine Coast. The Dispatch Controller role is responsible for coordinating daily operations at the depot to ensure optimal performance of bus services. This role involves managing schedules responding to lastminute changes and maintaining high standards of customer service and safety. Success in this role requires excellent focus organization and the ability to provide effective guidance to depot driving staff.
- 4 days on 4 days off roster
- 4 weeks am 3.45am1.45pm) 4 weeks pm 2.30pm12.30am)
Youll be involved in:
- Covering vacant shifts in the event of unplanned situations.
- Allocating vehicles and coordinating the bus yard runout.
- Organising schedules for vehicle and staff changeovers.
- Liaising with the Operations Control Centre to communicate updates on any impacted services.
- Providing support to frontline employees during incidents and emergencies.
- Monitoring operational changes and updating information in relevant systems.
- Processing weekly rosters timesheets and payroll in accordance with relevant industrial instruments.
- Reporting on daily operational performance and implementing any corrective actions.
The boxes youll tick:
- Experience in coordinating large teams with excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office and reporting software.
- Selfmotivated with a positive approach to a constantly changing work environment.
- Experience in adhering to and monitoring compliance with safety regulations and internal policies.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for clear instructions and communications.
- Minimum Medium Rigid drivers or higher license and Drivers Authority Licence
