IACT Engagement Advisor (OneYear Position)

Hillel International

Role Overview

Hillel International is looking for an IACT Engagement Advisor for a oneyear commitment to support and mentor IACT professionals on campus driving student engagement and impact. In this role you will develop and execute programs that enhance Birthright recruitment and strengthen Hillels mission. Reporting to the Director of Operations IACT you will be a key member of the IACT team playing a crucial role in building vibrant Jewish student communities. This role is for a highperforming current or former IACT with a proven track record of effectively engaging students both broadly and deeply while making a meaningful impact on campus Greek life.

IACT (Inspired Active Committed Transformed) is Hillel Internationals strategic initiative that leverages Birthright Israel to transform Jewish life on campus. Active on 37 campuses across the U.S. and Canada IACT engages lessaffiliated first and secondyear students by inspiring and supporting their Jewish journeys before during and after their Birthright experience. IACT fosters student engagement through three core pillars: Jewish learning Israel engagement and community service.

What Youll Do

  • Mentor and Support IACT Professionals: Build strong relationships with campusbased IACT professionals to guide and support their success.
  • Strengthen the IACT Cohort: Foster a positive culture and sense of community among IACT professionals.
  • Collaborate with IACT National Leadership Chairs to enhance the program.
  • Oversee IACT alumni engagement efforts.

Grow Student Engagement & Birthright Participation:

  • Support student cohort experiences like Fellowship: Ambassadors for Birthright (FAB) and Greek student engagement.
  • Cocreate individual work plans for IACTs to increase Birthright participation on their campus.
  • Develop a national community service program for IACTs to implement on campus.

Partner Across Hillel International Teams:

  • Work with the Center for Jewish and Israel Education & Meyerhoff Center to plan inperson IACT gatherings.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to strengthen IACTs social media presence.
  • Support Immersive Israel Experiences to increase Birthright recruitment.
  • Coordinate with Student Engagement Experiences and Leadership to develop national student initiatives.

Travel 20 to conferences campuses and Israel to support program implementation.

Who Were Looking For

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 25 years of experience as a highperforming IACT Coordinator on campus.
  • Proven ability to mentor guide and develop talent.
  • A natural connector who builds relationships with ease and is passionate about supporting Hillel professionals.
  • Deep enthusiasm for Jewish life Israel and Birthright.
  • Entrepreneurial mindsetadaptable innovative and eager to learn.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding and collaboration skills with diverse populations.
  • Techsavvy with experience using video conferencing tools Canva and social media.
  • Positive energy a sense of humor and a no task is too small attitude.
