JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Manager (SM) is responsible for overseeing and driving sales performance within an assigned geographic region (Western USA) for Yokogawas Industrial Automation Products portfolio. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans managing a team of sales representatives and building strong relationships with customers representatives and key stakeholders to meet and exceed sales targets. The SM ensures alignment with company goals and fosters a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and :

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies with internal teams and representative partners to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify market trends customer needs and opportunities to grow market share.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.

Team Management:

  • Recruit train and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve regional sales goals.
  • Set clear performance expectations conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to consistently deliver highquality results.
  • Develop and maintain healthy sales pipeline for self and team.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers representatives and partners.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events trade shows and meetings to enhance brand visibility.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (e.g. marketing product development projects order management) to align sales efforts with company objectives.
  • Provide insights and feedback on customer preferences competitive activities and market dynamics.

Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data identify trends and develop actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 50 within the assigned region.
