Job Description

Position: Executive of Community Development & Partnerships
Reports to: Director Student Executive Team
Location: Davis; TRC; HMC. Please specify your home campus on your application.
Term: May 1 2025 April 30 2026. May start midApril for training
Pay Rate: $21 per hour
Hours: 1520 hours per week. Potential for more hours during off semester
Requirements: Be a fulltime or parttime day time student at Sheridan College with a GPA of at least 2.5

General Responsibilities

All Roles

As a member of the SSU Executive Team you will be an advocate on behalf of the entire Sheridan Community across all campuses demographics and programs. Your role is to be a top student leader representing the interests of the students through informed feedback and observation. As the Executive team member of a specific area you will be working under the SSU Director Student Executive Team to create opportunities initiatives and further the organizational goals and priorities related to your specific position. These initiatives and opportunities will be crosscampus and will require collaboration and coordination with the other Executive members to ensure you are serving the entire Sheridan community.

Community

This role will focus not only on the Sheridan community but the surrounding community as well. Bringing in external partners to offers perks opportunities and services to students and facilitating opportunities for Sheridan to engage with the local community in a variety of ways. You will also be working towards building a positive campus community and enhancing the identity of individual campuses.
