In this role you will report to the and will work closely with the Avantors Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized missionbased lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.
Location: Cambridge MA
Shift: 7:30AM to 4PM (Monday Friday

What were looking for
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or undergraduate degree in business or science related field is preferred
Experience:
45 years applicable experience in supply chain and customer management
Previous experience managing mediumsize multilevel teams is required
GMP and GLP training a plus
Potential to manage Scientific Services
Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
Advanced supply chain and inventory knowledge
Must be results oriented with a focus on process and controls
Ability to selfmanage coach performance and drive change
Strong verbal and written communication skills required as the primary contact between internal Avantor teams and external customers.
Proficient in troubleshooting

Avantors Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma pharmaceutical educational industrial and hightech industries with customizable flexible solutions and endtoend laboratory operations support.
In this role you will:
Lead and direct team efforts as well as perform work provided in the SOW related to the customers requirements.
Able to successfully manage and implement process improvement initiatives across multiple departments both within Avantor and the external customer.
Coach and motivate team members to successfully perform job requirements and to meet / exceed goals and objectives. Encourages through mentoring as well as supporting individual professional and team growth.
Management of open order status reports customer deliverables internal processes metrics and reporting and SOP/SOW maintenance
Provide training and development as well as manage team capacity to perform required tasks.
Perform administrative duties such as associate performance appraisals succession planning time card review vacation scheduling etc.
Create and maintain: SOPs SLAs and KPIs.
Act as a liaison between customer Avantor services and Avantor Commercial.
Ensure GxP Compliance and Good Documentation Practices.
Bring value to the customer from personal development in the industry.
