Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Sous Chef specializing in Continental cuisine to join our team at a standalone 5star resort in Chennai India. This role requires an experienced chef with a specialization in European cuisine to assist in leading our culinary efforts and maintaining the high standards expected at our resort.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the resorts kitchen including menu planning food preparation and staff management
- Create innovative and highquality Continental dishes that exceed guests expectations
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
- Manage food costs and inventory efficiently while adhering to budget guidelines
- Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment at all times following health and safety regulations
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Continental cuisine
- Culinary degree or relevant certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Familiarity with local and international food safety standards
- Willingness to relocate to Chennai India
