The Senior People Partner will play a critical role in driving HR excellence and business alignment in our Moroccan operations while extending support to Algeria. As a key member of the Local Management Team the incumbent will contribute to strategic decisionmaking and ensure alignment between HR practices and organisational goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and handson professional equipped to navigate complex challenges and act as a trusted advisor to business leaders while maintaining a strong focus on compliance governance employee advocacy and organizational sustainability.

The role will be based in Morocco and will require travel to Algeria to provide handson HR support. As a member of the Local Management Committee the incumbent will participate in strategic decisionmaking and drive HR initiatives that align with organizational goals.



Responsibilities

Local Management Committee Participation:

  • Act as a strategic HR advisor to the Local Management Committee in Morocco.
  • Contribute to key business decisions aligning HR priorities with overall business strategies.

Change Management:

  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with business goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance to leaders and employees during change processes to foster adaptability and resilience.

Employer of Choice Branding:

  • Enhance the companys employer brand to attract retain and engage top talent in Morocco and Algeria.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to implement innovative talent strategies that position the company as a preferred employer.

HR Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to Moroccan and Algerian labor laws and global HR standards.
  • Act as a policy enforcer implementing and monitoring HR policies and procedures to maintain compliance.

Employee Advocacy:

  • Act as a voice for employees addressing concerns while balancing organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of trust inclusivity and engagement through effective communication and relationshipbuilding.

Payroll System Management:

  • Demonstrated experience with Sage Payroll or implementing new payroll systems.
  • Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing for both Morocco and Algeria.

Sustainability & ESG Leadership:

  • Play a significant role in advancing the companys Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

HR Operations & Strategy:

  • Partner with local management to develop and execute HR strategies that drive business objectives across Morocco and Algeria.
  • Identify opportunities for HR process improvements and lead the implementation of solutions.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in an HR generalist or partner role with demonstrated success in:
  • Change management.
  • Driving employer branding initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance and governance in HR operations.
  • Advancing sustainability and ESG goals in a corporate setting.
  • Handson experience with Sage Payroll and/or implementation of a new payroll system.
  • Strong knowledge of Moroccan and Algerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Fluent in English and French; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

  • CrossBorder Collaboration: Ability to navigate cultural and regulatory differences between Morocco and Algeria.
  • Relationship Building: Skilled in influencing and collaborating with leaders employees and external stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Proven ability to navigate complex challenges with a solutionsoriented mindset.
  • Detail Orientation: Strong focus on compliance governance and accurate payroll processing.
