Do you love being on the water Do you have experience operating boat Why not give back to you community as a Boating Specialist at Camp Watchaug this summer
Camp Watchaug located in Charlestown RI is a summer day camp operated by the Ocean Community YMCA. With direct access to Watchaug Pond we provide an impactful summer experience to youths in our community.
The Boating Specialist will:
- Implement all boating programs as assigned by the Waterfront Director
- Ensure safety protocols for all campers
- Work with entire camp team to ensure a positive experience for campers
- Be available MondayFriday all summer 8:30am4:00pm)
Qualifications include:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Have 13 years experience with camp and or aquatics activities
- Hold a current RI nonsurf or surf lifeguarding certification
- Hold a current safe boating certification
