Job Description

WHO WE ARE:The Elmhurst Park District established in 1920 and located 16 miles west of Chicago provides parks recreation facilities and programs to meet our mission of enriching lives while having fun. We have an excitingseasonal job opportunity for as Turf & Surf Camp Counselor!


WHAT YOULL DO: As Camp Counselor you will supervise and instruct camp participants while riding bikes to different field trips. You will engage with children in various recreational and camp activities! Including riding your bike with campers developing & preparing games and crafts & setting up/taking down equipment


WHAT YOULL BRING:

  • Some high school
  • Must be at least 16 years old by May 15
  • Must be able to provide own bike & bike helmet every day of camp
  • Must be able to bike up to 12 miles per day


WHEN YOULL WORK:
MondayFriday from 8:30am 3:30pm

WHAT YOULL GET:

  • Starting pay is $16/hour
  • This position falls under Pay Grade E with a pay range of $15.00 $20.00.
