Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager for a permanent role based in East London Eastern Cape.
Duties & Responsibilities
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with N3 Mechanical and Electrical trade test
- Technical qualification advantageous
- Good working knowledge of regulatory & statutory requirements
- Knowledge of GMP
- 2 years experience in FMCG Production / Manufacturing environment as a technician
- Able to work shifts / weekends / holidays when required
The successful applicant would be responsible for but not limited to:
- General & preventative maintenance on buildings and machines
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform mechanical repairs on machinery / equipment
- Minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician
- Assist with minor carpentry and repair work
- Maintain machinery / equipment tools clean/lubricate/oiling
- Adherence to GMP including Health and Safety
- Apply basic hygiene principles and clean and go principles in factory & workshop
Salary: R25000.00 R30000.00 per month to the ideal candidate
