Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager for a permanent role based in East London Eastern Cape.

Duties & Responsibilities


Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 with N3 Mechanical and Electrical trade test
  • Technical qualification advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of regulatory & statutory requirements
  • Knowledge of GMP
  • 2 years experience in FMCG Production / Manufacturing environment as a technician
  • Able to work shifts / weekends / holidays when required

The successful applicant would be responsible for but not limited to:
  • General & preventative maintenance on buildings and machines
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform mechanical repairs on machinery / equipment
  • Minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician
  • Assist with minor carpentry and repair work
  • Maintain machinery / equipment tools clean/lubricate/oiling
  • Adherence to GMP including Health and Safety
  • Apply basic hygiene principles and clean and go principles in factory & workshop

Salary: R25000.00 R30000.00 per month to the ideal candidate
