Food Technology Teacher (Cover) Waltham Forest April 2025 Start

Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher looking for a new role in Waltham Forest

We are seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join a thriving Design & Technology department and equip students with essential life skills starting April 2025. This is a maternity cover for the summer term.

The Role of a Food Technology Teacher & Requirements:

  • Teach Food Technology across Key Stages 34 delivering engaging practical and theory lessons.
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans to inspire students.
  • Ensure students gain key culinary and nutritional knowledge.
  • Maintain a safe and wellorganised kitchen classroom environment.
  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) with experience teaching Food Technology.
  • A degree in Food Technology Nutrition or a related subject (minimum 2:1 from a UKrecognised university.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for student success.
