Job Description
Financial Analyst
Location: Boston MA 3 days onsite)
Position Summary
The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting Grand Circles Finance Team by assisting in the preparation of financial reports conducting analyses and providing insights to drive business performance. This individual will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to assess financial trends identify opportunities and risks and support decisionmaking through datadriven recommendations. A strong focus will be placed on analyzing key financial metrics including revenue profit margins cost management and operational efficiencies to help optimize overall company performance.
Reporting to the Director of Finance this role offers exposure to senior leadership and opportunities for growth in financial planning and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial reports forecasts and analyses to support business decisions.
- Analyze business performance trends identifying opportunities and risks.
- Support financial planning processes including budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with various departments including Marketing and Revenue Management to provide financial insights.
- Maintain and improve financial models and reporting tools.
- Conduct adhoc analyses related to sales trends cost management and operational efficiencies.
Requirements:
- 47 years of finance or accounting experience with exposure to financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
- Proficiency in Excel required; experience with SQL Essbase or Tableau is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
