Job Description
Were looking for a problemsolver with expertise in electrical design motors and embedded systems someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment and is driven to innovate. Youll be responsible for conducting risk assessments ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing technical support across multiple departments. This role also offers the opportunity for occasional travel to customer sitesboth domestically and globally.
What Youll Do:
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety and electrical engineering standards
- Analyze customer challenges and develop innovative solutions
- Apply Six Sigma tools for structured root cause analysis
- Perform systemlevel testing and validation for reliability and performance
- Provide technical support to production quality sales and operations teams
- Design and develop test frameworks including manual and automated test fixtures
- Drive engineering investigations alongside service and lab technicians
- Create technical documentation manuals and application notes
You are customer (internal and external) obsessed and identifies the opportunities that benefit the customer to deliver the right solutions at the speed of light. You balance the interests of multiple stakeholders in the interest of a common goal. You enjoy solving critical customer issues and come up with useful ideas that are new better and unique. You remain energized and effective even when faced with ambiguity and uncertainty. You achieve the trust and support of others to be part of an effective team. You have a proven track record of solving customer issues in structured and creative way with quick turnaround. You pursue everything with energy drive and the need to finish. You persist in the face of challenges and setback.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Three to five years of experience in the field of electric actuators oil and gas rotating equipment manufacturing or related industries
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically
- Thorough understanding of electronic circuits printed circuit boards and electrical systems involving induction and BLDC motors
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Basic understanding of microcontrollerbased system PLC programming and firmware development process
