Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Concept and requirements development including decomposition and flowdown

• Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design

• Algorithm optimization research and development; trade studies to bring new advanced features to fielded system

• Functional analysis of real world and test data

• Multidisciplinary development efforts across the killchain for an Air and Missile Defense System

• Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree 12 years of relevant experience is required.

• Ability to obtain security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

• Advanced degree in AerospaceEE Physics AppliedMath

• Knowledge of radar systems (for example PATRIOT LTAMDS AN/TPY2 and others)

• Experience with both broad largescale data analysis and focused rootcause analysis

• Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

• Experience with design of system level architecture

• Experience with signal processing techniques system control

• Knowledge of Electronic Warfare/Electronic Attack/Electronic Protection Techniques

• Experience interfacing with external customers

• Experience across the product development life cycle

• Excellent communications skills verbal and written with technical customer and senior leadership audiences

• Selfmotivated passionate leader

• Proven ability and desire to facilitate career growth and knowledge transfer

• Experience in requirements development

• Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
