Job Description
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Miami Airport Convention Center is conveniently situated just south of Miami International Airport off the Dolphin Expressway adjacent to the Blue Lagoon Business District. The hotel features 334 guestrooms onsite dining fitness room outdoor pool business center complimentary HighSpeed Internet Access 24000 square feet of retail space 20000 Square feet of Hotel Meeting and Function Space and a Convention Center with 152000 square feet of meeting event and exhibit space.
This position will be an hourly position paying between $18 and $20 and hour and will report to the Human Resources Manager.

The Human Resources Coordinator will have administrative and strategic responsibilities and oversee important functions such as filling staffing benefits administration training and development and labor relations compliance.

Job Responsibilities:
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflictfree workplace.
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and initiating employee engagement activities.
- Monitor and assign brand standards and other hotelrelated training.
- Facilitate training as needed.
- Provide onboarding for new employees by providing information packets reviewing company policies and payroll information explaining benefit programs and obtaining document signatures.
- Maintain human resources records for employees by recording the hiring transfer termination change in job classifications and merit increase dates as well as tracking vacation sick and personal time.
- Administer employee benefits programs medical insurance and disability programs by advising employees of eligibility providing application information helping with form completion verifying submission and notifying employees of approvals.
- Document and track human resources actions by completing forms reports logs and records.
- Accomplish human resources department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- With HR Manager ensures compliance with labor regulations.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven experience in Human Resources
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problemsolving
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. ADP & Talent Acquisition software) will be a plus
- Desire to work as a team with a resultsdriven approach
- Flexibility in hours and schedule
- Facilitation skills
- Administrative writing and reporting skills
- Additional HR training (e.g. SHRMCP) will be a plus
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associates degree and/ or work equivalent
- One year of administrative support experience
