Our Sales team at Plaid combines deep product and industry knowledge and is focused on bringing Plaid to an everbroadening set of businesses. We believe every financial services company can benefit from better financial technology. This isnt limited to the financial services industry any company offering financial products to consumers deserves the best financial technology.Youll be the individual helping us achieve this vision. You will focus on generating new deals and building strong longlasting relationships with companies. Youll be tasked with identifying and closing deals across verticals in financial services utilities billing insurance and more.

Responsibilities

    • Identify use cases and prospect high growth companies that are 100 employees and beyond
    • Develop a book of high potential engaged prospects and maintain a sufficient pipeline to support successful attainment against quota
    • Successfully lead a technical sales motion of guiding engineers product and growth team members for the entire lifecycle from prospecting to close
    • Coordinate crossfunctional resources and drive initiatives across
    • Plaid to support a consultative sales motion
    • Own mastery of Plaid solutions and evangelize for industry success across fintech and other industries

Qualifications

    • 3 years of quotacarrying technical selling experience in a newnet hunting role
    • A strong track record of over performanceA hunter mentalityAbility to collaborate internally and exhibit a win as a team mentality
    • Experience in building territory plans and executing to plan
    • Passion working with growth stage private companies
    • Proficiency in technical products and APIs
    • Passion for Plaids mission of unlocking financial freedom for everyone
$96600 $96600 a year
Target base salary for this position is $96600 per year. The target base salary will vary based on the jobs location.

Our geographic zones are as follows:
Zone 1 New York City and San Francisco Bay Area
Zone 2 Los Angeles Seattle Washington D.C.
Zone 3 Austin Boston Denver Houston Portland Sacramento San Diego
Zone 4 RaleighDurham and all other US cities

Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan including medical dental vision and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience and skillset and location. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
