Job Description
SkillsetGroup is seeking a Welder to work in the city of Pomona CA area. The Welder will be responsible for welding metal components as specified by blueprints diagrams or verbal instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience with various welding techniques such as TIG MIG and Fluxcore and be able to work with different metals and materials.Thiswill be a 1st shift position and a Direct hire opportunity. Job:
- Title: Welder
- Contract to Hire Opportunity
- Pay: $2428/hr.
- Hours:
- 1st shift: 6:00 am 2:30 pm with OT as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Welder
- Proficiency in TIG welding with some experience in MIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
- Experience with electric and air tools.
- Familiarity with working with Stainless Steel and Sheet Metal.
- Capability to work with 1618 gauge material.
- Proficient in structural welding ranging from to 6.
- Experience with Fluxcore welding is a plus.
- Will be required to pass a Welding Test covering both TIG and MIG techniques.
