Summary
- POSITION INFORMATION
- Position summary:
- The Vascular Sonographer performs vascular ultrasonography in in a hospital outpatient physicians office. He/she supports the operation of the Cardiovascular Medicine Associates including answering phones processing reports scheduling patients retrieve medical records.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- High school diploma and graduation from an accredited vascular ultrasound program.
Required length and type of experience:- Clinical experience from training program.
Required licensure certification or registry:- Registered by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) OR registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) OR registry eligibly with agreement to pass registry within 1 year of employment.
