Wyckoff Heights Medical Center is seeking an exceptional Infectious Disease Physician to join its team and serve a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions in infectious diseases from chronic diseases to acute illnesses. As an Infectious Disease doctor you will play a vital role in the diagnosis treatment and management of various medical cases. There will be some teaching responsibilities for residents and medical students. This is a fulltime position providing services primarily in the outpatient setting but it includes shared inpatient consultation and oncall duties.
Wyckoff Heights Medical Center is a 220bed teaching hospital located in a residential neighborhood directly on the border of northern Brooklyn and Western Queens. We serve a variety of cultural and ethnic communities. We are committed to quality and compassion in addressing the healthcare needs of urban neighborhoods.
We seek applicants who are board certified or board eligible in infectious disease and have exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching. The faculty responsibilities in the Division of Infectious Diseases will be primarily outpatient infectious diseases clinics inpatient infectious diseases consultations teaching medical students and internal medicine residents. Depending on qualifications and experience there is potential for roles in hospital epidemiology/infection prevention and control and antimicrobial stewardship

We offer an attractive compensation package that includes RVU paid malpractice a generous paid time off program CME days plus allowance retirement benefits and a competitive benefit package. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a shared oncall rotation. Compensation ranges from $220K to $285K (not including bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits). Loan forgiveness programs are available based on eligibility. Visa candidates may be considered. New grads are welcome to apply.
