Requirements

What Will You Do

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT department. You will be responsible for managing our server and network infrastructures.

The IT Infrastructure Engineer responsibilities include monitoring system performance and configuring new software and hardware. To be successful in this role you should have excellent troubleshooting skills and handson experience with various operating systems as well as a keen interest in Microsoft based systems as well as Aruba Palo Alto networking devices

Ultimately you will ensure our infrastructure & networks run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Configure internal IT and AV systems
  • Manage & upgrade the network infrastructure
  • Provide level 2 and 3 support to internal users and level 1 when required
  • Install and configure laptops servers AV devices and firewalls
  • Train new system users resolve user account issues when needed
  • Monitor the performance of devices including laptops networks servers software and hardware
  • Ensure the smooth deployment of new applications
  • Update technical documentations

Expectations

  • Minimum 5 years experience within IT sector support roles
  • Good knowledge of at least one scripting language
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks and firewall technology 23 years networking experience)
  • Strong knowledge of system security procedures
  • Experience in working autonomously and taking ownership of problems and projects
  • Good problemsolving and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • BSc in Computer Science or related experience
  • CompTIA A and Network / CCNA
