Were looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Engineer to join our client in the defence industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Business Development Engineer to drive the growth of our business by identifying new opportunities establishing strategic partnerships and creating innovative solutions. You will work closely with both our technical and sales teams to understand clients needs design product solutions and present business strategies to potential clients. Your role will involve a mix of technical expertise and business acumen to help expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities including partnerships new market segments and sales leads.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop proposals and pitches tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to deliver clientspecific solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients demonstrating the companys product value and technical capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals ensuring both client satisfaction and company profitability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure longterm success.
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle from concept to delivery.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends incorporating new technologies into business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering Business or a related field.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing sales or business development deals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and business development activities.
