Here at Labcorp we are currently seeking a Study Director to join our In vitro Metabolism team located in Harrogate North Yorkshire.
As a Study Director you are responsible for managing the design conduct and reporting of studies to meet scientific regulatory and client requirements on a wide variety of study types. The majority of studies undertaken will be nonGLP studies and routine GLP or GCP studies. Close and regular liaison with the client is of primary importance.

The main responsibilities will include:
Acting as Study Director ensuring studies are performed and reported to high scientific standards
Supervising studies according to study plans and SOPs in compliance with any regulatory requirements
Reviewing and preparing protocols SOPs along with preparing study plans
Monitoring of study progress reviewing data and deciding next steps
Preparing reports
Communicating and working with both internal and external stakeholders to provide technical expertise and advice to relevant study staff
Working to project timelines and deliverables to ensure meeting targets

Education:
BSc preferably in life science subject
PhD is desirable however experience may be substituted for education
Skills / Experience:
Strong scientific background. Any knowledge and/or experience with in vitro metabolism using techniques such as protein binding cyp induction and inhibition or transporter is advantageous
Excellent English communication (verbal and written) teamwork and interpersonal skills
Demonstrable time management and organisational skills
Solution orientated
I.T proficient
GLP/GCP knowledge and/or experience is desirable
