As the Bar Manager you will take responsibility for:
About the Venue
A magical garden (voted the UKs best! a fully heated indoor and outdoor restaurant a beautifully converted stables bar and fantastic outside patio and hill. Brel is one of the citys most beautiful venues located in the West Ends Ashton Lane.
With a yearround event programme a famed food and drink line up of moules frites & fondues Belgian beers and Scottish gins fire pits and Ashton Lane festivals Brels offering is loved by locals and tourists and were looking for a Bar Managerto match it!
This role would suit someone in an existing Bar Manager role looking for an exciting change or a strong/experienced Bar Supervisor looking for a step up.

About the Role
At itison venues our main mission is to bring great experiences to all of our customers and we are looking for people who are just as passionate about doing this as we are!
As the Bar Manager you will take responsibility for:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the bars within the venue and ensuring the team are trained/knowledgeable to provide the best service level possible
- Maintaining the high standards that are already in place and looking for ways to improve the bar service
- Being a key decision maker for things like drink menu changes cocktail menus etc
- Taking ownership of the bar including training stock orders and effectively managing costs
- Working with the management team to maintain a high level of compliance management in areas such as licensing
- Being an active part of the management team across all areas of the venue

About You

We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for drink and giving the best service to our customers with at least 2 years experience in a busy bar environment.
- Has experience working in a busy venue with lots going on we have food drink group bookings & the events in The Hoedown so experience working in a similar venue would be beneficial
- Takes their role seriously and can communicate effectively with the team.
- An honest and hardworking team player who can be flexible and adaptable.
- Has a current valid Personal Licence obtained in Scotland
