Job Description
Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: NonExempt
Summary of Position: The Qualified Mental Health Professional Community Services (QMHPCS) is responsible for providing Targeted Case Management and Rehabilitative Services to youth with serious emotional disturbances and their families.
- Services may be provided in the participants home or appropriate community setting.
- QMHPCS will deliver case management and skillsbased interventions targeted increasing the youths natural supports and strengths fostering resilience and recovery.
- QMHPCS is responsible for accurately documenting services attending Wraparound Team meetings as needed and communicating participant progress to supervisors team members and the referring authority.
- All services are delivered in compliance with the Texas Medicaid Provider Procedures Manual the Texas Resilience and Recovery Utilization Management Guidelines YAP standards and all state and federal regulations governing the delivery of service.
Pay Range: $23$25 per hour based on education level and qualifications.
Masters Level $25 per hour.
Masters Level BiLingual $26 per hour
Bachelors Level $23 per hour
Bachelors Level BiLingual $24 per hour.
Qualifications/ Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in a human service related field as defined by Texas Administrative Code.
- Masters Level Must possess a masters degree in psychology social work medicine nursing rehabilitation counseling sociology human growth and development physician assistant gerontology special education educational psychology early childhood education or early childhood intervention. 25 billable hours of skills training or routine case management required per week.
- Bachelors Level If degree is in an unrelated field then listed above applicant is considered Bachelors level. Bachelors level required 25 billable hours of skills training or routine case management required per week.
- Experience in the provision of home and communitybased services. CPR/First Aid Certification. Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification.
- Position requires reliable transportation valid drivers license and current automobile insurance coverage.
BiLingual is preferred.
ASL is a plus.
