Job Description
Are you passionate about databases data analysis and data migration Were looking for an agile and highly motivated Data Migration Engineer / Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Athens or work remotely. What Youll Do:
- Study extract and analyze data from various data sources elaborating a quality data analysis;
- Create an inventory of all data that needs to be migrated;
- Provide technical support for the smooth and efficient data migration process;
- Create test cases for the migration testing and verification;
- Create relevant business and technical documentation;
- Automate the migration process through CI tools (e.g. Jenkins);
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of migrated data;
- Collaborate in a multinational environment adhering to highly professional standards and methods.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or other related fields;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Experience as a business/data analyst;
- Experience with modern database systems (MSQL Postgres);
- Software development experience using statistical computer languages (Python) including programming skills in JAVA and SQL;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
- Experience with ETL (Extract transform load) and ELT methods for data extraction and manipulation.
