We are looking for aFire Sprinkler Service & Install Fitter Technicianto join our team!
As a Fire Sprinkler Service and Install Technician you will be responsible for the installation inspection service and/or repair of wetpipe drypipe and preaction fire sprinkler systems. Also responsible for ensuring high levels of accuracy of these responsibilities and working in accordance with applicable national and local Codes and Standards.
In this role you will:
Perform installation service and/or repair of wetpipe drypipe and preaction fire sprinkler systems
Perform periodic inspections per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 25 standards internal piping inspections obstruction investigations flow tests and hydro tests
Provide accurate documentation through the use of Service Trade and state/local documentation as required
Record and document all inspections repairs discrepancies and recommendations
Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for followup quotes questions or concerns
Requirements:
23 years experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter
High School diploma or equivalent
WA Journeyman Fitters License required
ITT Certificate of Competency (Washington State Certification) required
NICET II Water Based Systems certification desirable but not required
Certificate of Fitness (COF) (Fire Sprinklers) desirable but not required
Oregon Backflow Assembly Tester Certification desirable but not required
Washington Backflow Assembly Tester Certification desirable but not required
Working knowledge of current codes and standards of fire sprinkler systems
Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
This position may require occasional overnight work emergency work and working on call
Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
Frequently lift and carry toolboxes tools equipment parts cabling and/or wiring
Must be able to push or pull up to 50 pounds
