We are hiring for the role of Radiator Circulator and Lids Process Engineer. The Texas Materials & Process department centers on development and production support of assembly methods materials and processes for current and next generation microwave and mmWave products with a very heavy emphasis on cuttingedge automation and materials.
You will work closely with product engineers quality engineers reliability engineers tooling engineers industrial engineers and operations leaders on product manufacturing. Team responsibilities include developing and implementing materials and processes process improvements and production support using established statistical process control techniques experimental designs material analysis mechanical design analysis and root cause analysis. Evaluation of materials equipment and processes (including qualification acceptance testing and specification development) will be required including interfacing with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
What You Will Do:
Supporting current lowvolume highmix production with onsite responsiveness to factory equipment process materials and product problems. Factory production support includes developing and implementing wellcontrolled processes using datadriven methods such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) and writing shop process documentation.
Developing and executing new product builds typically with automated equipment often requiring creative solutions for nextgeneration product designs.
Ensuring processes developed and executed meet product quality requirements (JSTD001 MILSTD883 MILPRF38534 IPC etc.
Process improvement projects to improve factory productivity through leveraging new technologies investigating and qualifying new materials and more
Capital equipment downselection and integration to meet current and future business needs
Effective crossfunctional communication of technical information
Qualifications You Must Have:
5 years of handson industry experience in RF product development and manufacturing.
U.S. citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. security clearance within one year of start date
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Chemistry Mathematics or related STEM degree
Current U.S. DOD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance within one year of employment
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience working with production support in a factory environment.
Able to work with a multidisciplined engineering team in resolving technical issues and investigation thereof.
Experience performing root cause analysis and correcting defects.
Knowledge of material test and failure analysis disciplines.
Selfmotivated proactive ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Power Point)
Manufacturing experience with surface mount technology (SMT) and microelectronics and automated assembly equipment
Process development and qualification experience
JSTD001 MILSTD883 MILPRF38534 and IPC standards familiarity
Statistical Process Control (SPC) statistical data analysis experience Design of Experiments (DOE) techniques
Technical writing experience for operator instructions process and/or material qualification reports equipment vendor statement of works etc.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
