Job Description
Alutiiq Information Management LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer Mid. We are seeking a midcareer network programming and/or software engineer to primarily develop support and maintain a state of the art maritime surveillance system. Applicant to contribute in the design improvements and integration of capabilities to existing system.
- Design/Improve/Implement new and existing products
- Researches and evaluates products parts or processes for cost efficiency and reliability
- Analyzes test results and recommends appropriate design changes
- Coordinates with engineering staff and other company resources to complete RDTE and NIWCElectronic Harbor Security projects
- Create work Schedules
- Meet production deadlines
Payrate:$80000 to $115000 Annually
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- Pursuant to the Government Contract you must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Mechanical Software or Systems Engineering from an accredited institution plus four 4 to seven 7 years relevant specialized experience performing system design integration laboratory and GUI development.
- Four 4 years experiencewith Electronic Security Systems
- Four 4 years experience in digital and analog systems and subsystems
- Four 4 years of experience on U.S. Navy maintenance philosophy
- Provide system analysis of components or subsystems of Naval military systems.
- Perform engineering work and apply judgment to resolve conflicting requirements.
