They are currently looking for a Senior Drainage Design Engineer to be based in Qatar.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of comprehensive drainage systems for various projects ensuring optimal water management and compliance with regulations.
Analyze site conditions conduct hydraulic modeling and prepare detailed drainage plans and specifications.
Collaborate with architects other engineers and stakeholders throughout the design process to ensure project integration.
Manage and supervise the work of junior engineers and technicians providing technical guidance and expertise.
Oversee procurement and contract management for drainage system components ensuring costeffectiveness and timely delivery.
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation including design drawings calculations and reports.
Stay current with the latest advancements in drainage design principles and technologies.
Qualification & Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from a reputable university in North America Western Europe or Australia.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering design specifically within the water/wastewater management industry.
Proven experience in asset management drainage system design procurement and contract management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite hydraulic modeling software (e.g. SWMM HydroCAD) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Experience working in the GCC region is highly preferred.
