Job Description
TPF Recruitment is recruiting for a Part time Assistant Accountant to join a fantastic accountancy practice based near Folkestone. You will be responsible for accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT returns for a varied client base across Kent and the SouthEast. You will carve a key role here adding value to clients and building relationships within a growing team and firm.
This very successful firm of chartered accountants based near Folkestone has developed a strong reputation for delivering quality services along with building strong relationships with its varied client base. The firm offers a very supportive and team focused environment reflected by a very low staff turnover and long serving staff.
This is a stable longterm position offering the candidate an opportunity to settle into a welldefined role. The role provides ample exposure to all areas of accounting and bookkeeping and the opportunity to develop your technical skills. The primary focus will be on maintaining a consistent highquality level of service for clients.
- Prepare accounts from client records using a variety of software
- Draft basic tax computations and complete personal tax returns
- Prepare monthly bookkeeping management accounts and VAT returns whereappropriate
- Deal with initial queries on accounts and liaise with clients in a professional manger
- Support the partners with ad hoc project work
Requirements
Part Time Assistant Accountant Folkestone
- You may be AAT studying qualified or qualified by experience.
- You will have anything from 3 5 years experience within a clientfacing capacity
- Experience of software such as Xero QuickBooks Sage Kashflow etc. would be advantageous.
