Job Description
A prominent national law firm specializing in complex civil litigation seeks a skilled attorney to join its California team. Known for its expertise in toxic torts product liability local government issues general liability and commercial litigation the firm takes a teamoriented approach to client service aligning closely with clients to advance their interests across a variety of sectors. Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee local and national accounts throughout California.
- Manage litigation caseloads independently from start to finish.
- Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for both deposition and trial.
- Review analyze and respond to discovery requests and pleadings.
- Prepare and file court documents including efiling.
- Provide comprehensive trial preparation and support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed time records.
Candidate Requirements:
- At least two years of experience in complex litigation toxic tort or environmental liability.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with admission to the California Bar.
- Strong skills in motion practice and depositions with experience leading plaintiff and expert depositions.
- Highly organized and capable of independent work.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and analyze complex issues effectively.
