Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Leadership

• Oversee performance of complex design.
• Direct train and mentor team members on the various facets of water infrastructure.
• Attend and participate in industryrelated conferences and events.

Project Management

• Provide project management and interface with clients.
• Manage the development of production work plans.
• Experience working and collaborating with contractor.
• Lead project for successful project delivery and client satisfaction including financial management resource management changeorder management and client invoicing.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary project teams including subconsultants.
• Serves as a senior design engineer and provide mentorship to junior engineers on the team.
• Guide the team to establish consistency and quality assurance processes in the production of all deliverables and manage the quality control of all submission materials.

Business Development

• Work with the Water Sector Manager to develop and execute the strategic plan.
• Build and maintain key relationships with clients and industry organizations to pursue opportunities and grow the business.
• Promote technical practices innovation sharing and knowledge management.
• Collaborate regionally nationally and internationally on water pursuits including programs and sustainability initiatives.
• Participate in business development and identify and follow through on strategic opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the District of Columbia (or ability to obtain) with 15 years of design experience including large underground infrastructure projects such as sewer rehabilitation and CSO systems.
• Experience with trenchless rehabilitation of large diameter sanitary and combined sewers such as geopolymer sliplining spiral wound shotcrete and glassreinforced plastic.
• Experience with construction management at risk and progressive designbuild required.
• Relevant experience includes working on $150$200M design projects construction involvement and a strong foundation in design principles.
