Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Coordinatorto join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of safety regulations and practices with an OSHA 30 certification as a minimum requirement. This role is essential in ensuring the safety of all personnel and compliance with relevant safety regulations onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce all safety standards and regulations at the job site.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Lead safety meetings training sessions and toolbox talks for all site personnel.
- Investigate and document any accidents incidents or nearmisses onsite ensuring proper reporting and followup.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sitespecific safety plans and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations local state and federal safety requirements.
- Maintain uptodate safety documentation records and permits.
- Collaborate with project managers supervisors and contractors to improve overall site safety.
- Support emergency preparedness and response efforts.
- Continuously identify areas for safety improvement and recommend solutions.
Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 Certification is required.
- Minimum of X years of experience in safety management in a construction manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and lead teams.
- Ability to work in fastpaced environments and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with incident investigation and report writing.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software is preferred.
Work Conditions:
- Onsite position requiring regular physical presence at the job site.
- Must be able to stand walk and move around for extended periods.
- Exposure to construction or industrial environments which may involve loud noise dust and other hazardous conditions.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required onsite.
