Job Description
San Marcos Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate parttime Theater Teacher for theschool year. This position involves teaching theater classes to Middle School 8th grade) and Upper School 9th through 12th grade) students. The ideal candidate will inspire creativity and foster a love for the performing arts in students.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Middle and Upper School theater classes.
Teach theater techniques performance skills and stagecraft to students.
Encourage student participation and collaboration in theater productions.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall arts program.
Perform other duties as assigned by the principal

Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students and staff.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Theater Education or a related field preferred.
