Job Description
Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering (ABEE) offers an exciting job opportunity in battery research & development. We seek an experienced Mechanic to work in our technical department.
You will help us ensure the reliable operation maintenance and repair of our equipment and machinery.
What youll do at ABEE
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine necessary repairs
Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical problems
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure optimal performance of machinery
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Provide support for the installation of new equipment and machinery
Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures
Required qualifications
Experience: 45 years of relevant experience as a mechanic
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and repair equipment
Certification or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field
Fluent in English (French and/or Dutch is a plus)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong problemsolving skills attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an interdisciplinary and international work environment
