What You Will Do:
- Stocks receives shipments and maintains an inventory of the commissary kitchens.
- Develops and updates policies and procedures in regard to dietary standards menus food preparation and sanitary needs of kitchens.
- Develops menus and recipes that are nutritious and appetizing; to ensure nutritious and submits menus to dietitian for approval.
- Plans prepares serves and provides cleanup for school breakfasts and lunches. Provides healthy snacks during the school day and after school.
- Inspects purchased food and equipment for standards of quality; monitors invoice ensures quality food purchases as most competitive price.
- Assures that food served to children is done in an appetizing and nutritious manner; utilizes creativity and fun to develop mealtimes that are relaxed and supportive of children in treatment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Valid Montana Drivers License (or obtain within 60 days of employment)
- Must pass a Background check prior to start date
Preferred:
- Certification as a dietary manager with two years progressively responsible experience in a similar capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
